Thyroid Type Turkey Kabobs Recipe
When you want to grill out, but are trying to avoid red meat, these kabobs are a fun and easy option.
-1 5-6 pound turkey breast
-¼ cup of soy sauce (substitute Tamari for gluten free)
-¼ cup dry sherry
-¼ cup Chinese plum sauce
-1 tablespoon fresh minced ginger
-1 teaspoon olive oil
-½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
-1 bunch of green onions cut into small pieces (tops included)
Mix the soy sauce, sherry, ginger, oil, plum sauce, and red pepper in a large bowl.
Cut the turkey into 2 inch cubes.
Add turkey to the marinade and toss to coat well. Cover and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
Thread the turkey cubes on metal skewers, alternating with onion pieces, and grill on a barbecue or in the oven for about 30 minutes, turning occasionally and brushing with marinade.
